I am a software engineer. I think in systems. When I started researching peptide compounds three years ago I approached it the same way I approach any third-party API — I need to see the documentation, I need to verify it independently, and I do not trust anything I cannot trace to a primary source.
This is my COA verification guide. Every compound I research has gone through this process before I sourced it.
"If a vendor cannot give me a batch number I can look up independently before I place an order, I move on. Full stop."
Why COA Verification Matters
The research compound market has no FDA oversight. That means purity, identity, and concentration are entirely dependent on what the vendor tells you — unless you verify independently. An internal COA from the same company selling you the compound is not verification. It is a receipt.
The Two Verification Systems I Use
Accumark Labs — provides a unique accuverify code per batch. You enter the code at accumarklabs.com/accuverify and see the full COA for that exact batch. You cannot fake this — the code either exists in their system or it does not.
Janoshik Analytical — independent European lab. Each test has a unique URL with the full COA including the HPLC chromatogram. Either the test exists at that URL or it does not.
My Verification Process — Step by Step
| Step | Action | What to Check |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Request batch number + COA URL before ordering | Vendor provides independently verifiable link |
| 2 | Visit verification URL directly — type it, don't click | URL resolves to real lab system |
| 3 | Check purity, test method, batch number match | HPLC/MS preferred · 99%+ purity |
| 4 | Check test date | COAs older than 12 months are a yellow flag |
| 5 | Cross-reference compound name on COA | Must match exactly what you ordered |
Where I Source
After vetting over 20 vendors using this process, I source exclusively through Solara Peptide Research. Every batch is Accumark verified. Their COA library is publicly accessible — no login required — at solarapeptideresearch.com/coa. That level of transparency is rare.
Current Research Stack
SPR-2TR (10mg, Accumark verified 99.958%), SPR-3RT (10mg, Accumark verified 99.908%), KPV (10mg, Janoshik verified 99.59%). All sourced from Solara. All verified independently before ordering. All documented with batch numbers on file.
Verify Any Batch Yourself
Solara's full COA library is publicly accessible — no account needed. Every batch has an independent verification link you can check before ordering.
